General Acceptance Conditions
We make every effort with the accuracy in pricing on our web site. In the unlikely event of a mistake we will inform you as soon as it is discovered. We will then offer you the choice of re-ordering or a full and immediate refund. Please note that we will not be responsible for typographical, pricing or other errors and reserve the right to cancel any orders based on such errors.
Delivery
We do our very best to deliver your appliances in perfect condition. Unfortunately on some occasions things may get damaged. It is therefore VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE MACHINES ARE INSPECTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. EVEN IF THE PACKAGING APPEARS TO BE IN PERFECT CONDITION, PLEASE CHECK THE GOODS AS THEY CAN BE DAMAGED BEFORE LEAVING THE FACTORY. DO NOT SIGN THE DELIVERY NOTE UNTIL THE GOODS HAVE BEEN CHECKED THOROUGHLY. Signing the delivery note as ‘unchecked’ or ‘unexamined’ is still an acceptance of the goods. In the unlikely event of damage it will speed a replacement if the goods are refused. If you are unable to inspect goods on delivery sign as unexamined. PLEASE REPORT ANY DAMAGES TO US BY PHONE WITHIN 24 Hours. Naturally we are unable to accept liability for damages or errors if the goods have been installed.
It is recommended that you do not arrange for your fitters until the appliances have arrived and been thoroughly checked.
Appliances in stock are normally delivered within 3-5 working days, overnight deliveries are usually available but subject to a surcharge (call us on 01708 804666 for further details) however occasionally circumstances beyond our control, and that of the supplier(s), may extend the delivery period.
WHEN PAYING BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD WE CAN ONLY DELIVER TO THE SAME ADDRESS AS THE CARD IS REGISTERED TO.

Returns
Customers exercising their right to return damaged goods must ensure that reasonable care is taken of the goods and that they are returned to TEJ in an unused and as new condition complete in its original packaging. TEJ will refund the purchase price of the goods within 30 days of the items being returned to us, after checking the goods are as new and complete. Where you wish to return an item that was not an error on our part, we will ask the manufacturer to accept a return. Should they accept this can incur charges as high as 25% for transportation. We will always attempt to keep this charge to a minimum i.e. sufficient to cover costs. Special, custom-built appliances such as range cookers, American refrigeration and some cooker hoods are normally not returnable unless faulty.
Faulty Goods
All goods supplied by us carry full manufacturers warranty for at least 12 months parts & labour. If an appliance is found to be faulty you should contact us immediately and we will arrange any necessary appointments on your behalf. If an appliance is classed as un-repairable by the manufacturer’s engineer, this must be confirmed in a report at the time. We ask that you then contact us immediately and we will arrange for a replacement.
